Vessel in the form of an Alpaca

Offering containers, such as this one, in the form of an alpaca were filled with a mixture of alpaca fat and blood and placed in pastures to insure fertility in the herd. Vessels of this kind were also in the form of the llama.

Scientific classification: "Lama pacos".
